HOLD YOUR HEAD UP HIGH, SON.

FLYDAY
It's been awhile TOO FUCKING LONG since I blogged. One year later, I'm a year older, wiser, sexier. I'm in the army now as well and let's just say thank heavens it's Good Friday to today. Anyhoo..
This is what I look like now: HAHAHAHAHAH
Mama mama can't you see? This is what army's done to me!

In the words of one Mick Swagger Jagger Antwone 3000,

"WHAT DAY IS IT TODAY?!?!"

NO BEETCH, NOT YOU. GO BACK TO YOUR KITCHEN.

IT'S FRIDAY, I'M IN <3 :D!

A lot has happened since then and I'm just aching to share it with whoever's interested. Stay tuned!

I wonder if you're listening,
picking up on the signal sent back from within.
Sometimes it feels like I don't really know whats going on.
Time and time again it seems like everything is wrong in here.

But there's still tomorrow, forget the sorrow.
And I can be on the last train home.
Watch it pass the day, as it fades away
No more time to care. No more time, today.

But we sing if we're going nowhere.
Yeah we sing if it's not enough.
And we sing, sing without a reason
to ever fall in love

Well we sing if we're going nowhere
Yeah we sing if it's not enough
And we sing
Sing without a reason to ever fall in love

But we sing if we're going no where
Yeah we sing if it's not enough
And we sing, sing without a reason,

to never fall in love

To never fall in love again.

Lostprophets - Last Train Home.

This is the last time
that I'm ever gonna come here tonight.
This is the last time - I will fall
into a place that fails us all inside.

I can see the pain in you
I can see the love in you
But fighting all the demons will take time,
it will take time.

the angels they burn inside for us
are we ever
are we ever gonna learn to fly
the devils they burn inside of us
are we ever gonna come back down
come around
I'm always gonna worry about the things that could make us
cold.

Clear.
I have my dreams again. My ambitions re-ignited and my plans are clear. For the second time in a long while, I actually have belief in myself and I am not afraid of what lies ahead.

And I owe it all to my primary school mate Nurfaiz. (Yes, there are a shitload of people with the same name as me.)

Also,

I found out last night that I can sleep anywhere, even on a roadside curb.

National Service, here I come!

(Someone remind me to never spend another night like that ever again!)

It's just one of those days.

Thank You.

It's the last stretch.

It's last few weeks of lessons before the last exams I have to sit for. But it's somewhat bittersweet though; being bombarded with projects and rushing final year report, leaving almost zero time and enthusiasm to reminisce about these past three years.

However, I still do think about all these things I've done and all these people I've met.

I'm going to miss these classmates of mine. Though we may not have connected on the same level, I'm always going to remember what we've gone through these past three years.

Best friends Irene Ang Caiyin and Ho Jun Lin.

We are fish out of water. We clearly do not belong here. But there's not a single ounce of regret in me for not choosing another course. For if it were any different, we wouldn't have crossed paths. And I wouldn't want things any different.

I am sure I will be stuck in camp one day, wishing for the days when we had our best friend pick-me-up sessions. Not often, but I really did enjoy those alone times we shared, when we could tell each other anything.

Our morning adventures will be the stuff of legends . Never will anyone believe that we can be nonchalant about being late for morning lessons and enjoy the freedom of being in poly.

There's also the people from Student's Union. Being a Group Leader and now GPIC for your camps are most definitely memories that wouldn't fade so fast. All these children and grand kids and the rest of you have really made school that much more interesting to go to.

And definitely not forgetting the fantastics overseas: Brian, Brenda, May, Jia and Amanda. After this year we're all going our separate ways. I'm always going to hold dear the moments we shared and the laughs we had. I just know the future's going to be bright for all of you. Just don't lose touch with me. :)

Thank you for making my life the way it is.

IT FEELS SO RIGHT NOW.

I've been procrastinating on doing lots of things, such as this long overdue update for a long time now. But the heavy rain and the lack of awesome shows on tv have backed me into a corner. So here goes.

Guess who's back, still in one piece!

Yes, Malaysia trip with dad wasn't too bad, apart from the budget hotel and lack of activities. But the important thing is that I had a great time with dad and of course,

<3

and

BRIAN ;D

And then back to the real world with a little get together with the Unioners. Was good to meet with the soccer boys right after the tournament. We didn't win those matches, but it was a good run, dontcha think boys?

Anyway, picture time.
MUST BE THE BEARD!

It feels so right to have sidekicks. Everyone should have one!

So, Eunice, the brother's girlfriend is in town.
That means there's going to be awesome food for the next few days, since our guests are always treated to my maid's super on cooking.

Awesome.

As those little kids at Hogwarts say it,"Happy Christmas!"

And here's to a glorious new decade ahead.

Cheers.
